Dan grew up in Orland Park where he and his wife currently reside. They have three children together, Andrew, Allison, and James. Family life is important to Dan and he knows the importance of maintaining a healthy relationship at home. His hobbies include cars, golf, and model railroading. Dan loves to travel with his family and is an avid road trip planner. There is nothing more exciting to him than packing the kids and wife in the car and heading for a long journey across America.

From a business standpoint Dan started out on a very different path. Studying Accounting and Finance at Marquette University Dan was in public accounting as an auditor for a little over six years. While a public accountant Dan met a roofer who was taking a look at some leaky siding. The two of them got to talking and Dan found out that the roofer was starting his own inspection company. Dan immediately was curious about the prospect of helping people learn about their homes during such an important financial decision. The time just wasn't right. Dan spent the next two years as a financial controller running a finance department of fifteen employees while getting his license and performing inspections on the side. In mid 2016 Dan decided the time was right to start his company and left his job as a controller and hasn't looked back since. He loves every day he gets to help others and looks forward to passing on the information he has learned.
